Chaim Haas, an industry expert in technology and social media, serves as the Senior Vice President leading Kaplow's Technology and Emerging Practice.

With more than 13 years of public relations agency experience, Chaim is a results-focused strategic thinker with strong, active media relationships, a deep understanding of social media, and extensive experience planning and managing campaigns for consumer, business-to-business, technology, media and telecommunications clients, as well as coordinating multi-national PR efforts.

In his current role, Chaim continues his work with Skype and leads a team that is working with Skiff, an eReading company backed by Hearst Corporation, and Nero AG, the creator of liquid media technology, which enables liquid content creation and distribution anytime, anywhere, and on any device.

In his role with Kaplow, Chaim has spent much of his time working with Skype to execute both media and analyst relations programs to help the company gain a foothold in the IT/business sector. He also raised Skype’s visibility as an influential company in the wireless space and regulatory circles, both in the US and abroad, playing a critical role in the company’s launch of its iPhone app and in its evangelizing the open wireless Internet. He has also helped increase Skype’s executives’ profiles through both media relations and a speakers’ bureau, as well as led the charge on blogger relations for Skype in the U.S.
